Before you pay a study-abroad consultancy in Nepal, answer 10 quick questions about what they told you. You get a red-flag score, what each flag means, and what to do next. Free, no sign-up, nothing saved or sent.
What this test does
It checks your consultancy against 10 warning signs taken from official guidance (U.S. State Department, Study Australia, Australian Home Affairs, the British Council) and from news reports of Nepal’s new consultancy rules. Each red flag in your result links to its source.
Who it is for
Students and parents in Nepal who are about to pay a consultancy or agent for help with the USA, Canada, the UK or Australia.
Limits
- A score of 0 does not prove a consultancy is licensed or honest. Always ask the Ministry of Education to confirm the licence.
- The test does not name, rate or accuse any consultancy. It only reflects your own answers.
- Nepal’s 2083 consultancy regulations were reported in the news from July 2026; we could not read the full official text, so those points are marked “reported”.
- General information, not legal advice.
