Why the higher fee matters for Nepali students
Because the charge is paid again for every new application, a refusal now costs at least Rs 2.68 lakh in fees alone, plus the time lost before your intake. That makes a careful first application the cheapest one. Two things deserve the most care: financial evidence that Home Affairs will accept, and a Genuine Student statement written in your own words.

- For your statement, see how to answer the Genuine Student questions in your own words.

Can you earn some of it back?
Study Australia says students can work up to 48 hours per fortnight during study terms, including exams, and unlimited hours during scheduled course breaks. Part-time income helps with living costs once you arrive, but you cannot count future wages as funds for your visa.
