UK Raises Student Visa Maintenance Funds from 30 November 2026
3 September 2026. United Kingdom. The UK government’s latest statement of changes to the Immigration Rules (HC 584) raises the money Student visa applicants must show for living costs.
The new amounts
- London: £1,570 per month (up from £1,529)
- Outside London: £1,203 per month (up from £1,171)
- Up to 9 months, as before
- Applies to applications made on or after 30 November 2026
